so, basically this is the big spot on the ustream videos, while only a few have been mentioned in the suggested viewing order, I am just going to watch them all and comment on anything interesting. Btw, there be spoilers ahead.
Video 1
Firstly we have the sleep video, about 28 minutes long. Nothing so far that's shown to be important, but there is the audio hallucination that Vince has had where he is called upstairs and no one is there, which I reckon could be the first instance of the rake (maybe a long shot) or maybe just a slendy related oddity. And at 19:36 the infamously rumoured first rake occurrence (not proven) is here, with someone dropping or appearing in the doorway, wearing purple trousers, and being instantly dragged away. Not sure who this could be, though my votes are for Evan as he is always acting weird in the Ustream videos. The user “jay” or “draculaboy” may be a reference to Marble Hornets, especially with the follow-up quote from Vince “jay, put on your mask and go home boy” alluding to masky from Marble Hornets. The line about wifin in the club is also a reference to the popular MH meme, gimme twenty dollars. The group also talks about MH being a big influence.
Video 2
what I really like about this video is the lack of important plot details here, its just a brilliant video of the cast being themselves, and one of my favourites.
Video 3
So the third video is where things get interesting, firstly JessE is introduced at 2:07 as mitziestar for the first time, Evan takes a dislike to her, though initially comically, and actually says he will kill her, jokingly in the video, but this could be a foreshadow to her death in later videos, after all, Evan is the most unstable of the group. At about the 5;10 mark, Evan begins to stare off towards the left of the screen, facing away, much in the same way they we often see him staring. This happens again at the 7;56 mark, and he peers towards to doorway as well, the same doorway where someone is dragged away in the first ustream. After looking away, he walks off. This is the beginning of the “crazy” behaviour he shows during this video. Every now and then he will walk past behind them, as he is walking in circles At 11:40 Vince asks Evan what hes doing, the reply being “im just grabbing a drink bro” showing the he is not aware of what He's doing, or he is and He's trying to cover it. He's asked again at 12:25 and just replies “im just checking something”. At 14;09 Evan appears again, only with the iconic purple tape over his mouth. He even pauses for a bit to let us see it. Evan does not appear on screen again, but we do hear noises of either rushing water or electric fans, Vince and Jeff look over several times trying to see what it could be. The noise is said to be from Jeff's brother who is playing limbo. Evan is then said to be in the bathroom. Whether or not this is true hasn’t been seen yet, and we do not know what Evan may be doing in the bathroom, though I doubt it would be the obvious answer. JessA leaves at around 18:00 and we are left with Jeff and Vince At 21:49 we see the pendant the Jeff is going to give to JessA, the same pendant we find in Centralia, and the same one on damsel's blog.
That's pretty much it, once Evan disappears from the video, he stays gone, and the rest of the video is fairly normal.
Video 4
this video starts off a little odd, Evan seems to be happy and cheerful, dominating the conversation for a while, but Jeff, Vince and Alex seem very solemn and despondent, maybe even depressed, considering the circumstances. At one point, Evan is asked about his knife, and states that he did not bring it. Maybe an odd streak for Evan, but it is to be expected.
It is revealed in this video that Jeff works in a hospital, though it is not started what he does. OK, bit of a weird thing to bring up here, but I just checked the video length, and its over 2 hours long, meaning that this post will be a little bit stilted, seeing as it is going to take a long time to fully cover it, so bare with me if there seems to be a bit of a jump or a gap.
Its also stated that they haven't had much news on HABIT and that Alex is not registered with the tournament [only he was]. It is then stated that Daniel was holding the camera for the Ryan&THESEVENTRIALSOFHABIT video, and that he has not had any negative effects because of this.
They mention the damsel situation, stating that they have tried to contact her without success and that Jeff regrets everything he did to her. Evan seems very unapologetic about this, stating that Jeff should be sorry.
The group states their ages, and Alex says that his arm is healing after the run in with the rake.
The group also reveals how they met Evan, Vince stating that he and Jeff knew each other for a while, and they met Evan at public high school.
Evan is then asked “what happened when you attacked the tall guy with the bat”, alluding to the Ashen Waste video. Evan then directs the question to Jeff and Vince, seeming to be unable to fully remember what happened. The group says that they ran after Evan, who fell back after being bloodied. There was the sound of a suck of air, and slenderman was gone, Evan was on the ground. Vince states that the video is the totality of what happened, there were no extra scents or sounds to miss, we got the full picture this time.
Evan then says that the bat never made contact and that he was extremely close, indicating a distance with his fingers of about 1cm, but the bat just slowed down, like it had hit water. The bat then just stopped. Evan then states that it “hurt like a sonofabitch”. He also acknowledges that slenderman was the cause of this, rather than trying to make an excuse. Evan also seems thoroughly pissed at his missed opportunity.
Vince then interrupts to try to answer some of the other questions.
It is also revealed that Jessie is Evan's ex, and that they are still pretty close.
They are then asked about Vince's phone, and he says that he lost it 3 days before it was found. They are always around each other's houses and its easy to lose things.
They are also asked whether they edit the documentary footage, and answer that they only cut the videos down so that only the important clips are shown. Watching the Morse videos, we also see that the group cuts clips they don't want the audience to see, for whatever reason.
Evan also admits to not knowing what a twitter is, showing his complete lack of prowess with any technology. Evan is also asked whether he talks to himself, he replies “not that I know of”. This isn’t a definite no answer, more of a deflection and almost the knowledge that he does talk to himself, or at least it looks that way, but he either doesnt want to admit to this, or he is not aware of it fully. The questions seem geared more towards Evan than the rest of the cast, mostly surrounding his attitude to slendy and his gung-ho way of doing things. This could also be the reason behind his lack of twitter. The sheer amount of Evan based questions that can be asked must overwhelm the group, and having to answer these on the spot on Ustream is hard enough, let alone trying to find canon answers on twitter where nothing can be subtly hinted at or gently released.
This is all followed by Evan joking about twitter being a mythical beast, saying that he doesnt go near those fucking things, and that they scare him. Joking of course, but still outlining his reluctance to use a computer. Maybe a bit odd watching all of this and seeing the revelations in the later videos.
The audience of this video is also pressing a lot of questions close to the plot, asking Evan whether he blacks out, with Evan saying again “not that I remember”, never giving a complete no answer to these questions, cleverly leaving room for speculation and a change.
Jeff is even asked whether he has ever been attacked by Evan. This question could have been prompted by the Canon? Video, but again is very probing, and to the characters, must seem strange at this point. Im not sure the rest of the crew are fully aware of the violent capacity Evan possesses, at least not yet.
The group is then asked about why Evan was talking to himself in the previous video, a clip that, like the Morse videos, is not viewable by the crew. They take this question as a troll question, and Evan seems quite annoyed at how frequent this occurs. Evan goes from annoyed to outright insulted at the accusation then angry at the insistence of the audience. Vince plays the peace maker and moves things along, though whoever asked the question was still going and Evan was just giving up, trying to stop what he thought was a troll, and was really an uninformed fan. Most fans at this point had realised that the Morse videos, and pretty much any strange clip, are off limits, both for the group to watch, and for us to ask. Any further questioning of the group provokes an attack, and leaves the “troll” with no answers, and alienation from the crew.
Things the progress, and they are asked whether Alex has been back into his room, Jeff says that the barricade has been reinforced after a trip to home depot, though the room has been silent, meaning that either the rake has gone, or the rake is laying dormant, waiting for someone to enter. This could possibly be why the rake was still partially there in the taking it back video. (SPOILERS).
If the rake was waiting for Jeff or Alex to enter, then it would have taken them down when they entered, but instead it fled the room when Evan entered. The rake seems to sense either a mighty force that will attack it, or maybe even its master. If Evan really is HABIT, in one way or form, and the rake is under the control of HABIT, then it would not attack anyone why its master was with them, it may also know what Evan is not aware of the HABIT side. It could also be possible that Evan has fought the rake before, maybe in a past iteration, and the rake knows that even is a genuine threat (just look at the one step forward, two steps back video.) (SPOILERS END HERE)
Jeff also states that “maybe we won”.
The group also states that the car is fine after apparently hitting slenderman.
A phone message from Ryan, prior to his death at the hands of the rake, is also mentioned, Evan seems to know that the whispering is from the rake, and when he asks Vince about it, Vince replies “we'll talk about it later”.
Evan is also asked about any nicknames he may have, obviously asking about whether he goes by the name HABIT, but he says he doesnt have any nicknames, save for one being “The Amazing”.
Once again, the group is asked about the Morse videos, and Evan says “are you referring to the one [video] that we cant see? We cant see it because it doesnt exist” which seems like a slip up there, stating that they simply cant see it, and having to quickly cover the hole and state that it doesnt exist. The question asked was bout Evan's knife.
The group is asked whether they have seen the unsigned tweets, Jeff responds that he hasn’t, but that they are aware of them. This follows a question “for everyone but Evan”, seeming to be something about Evan that Evan would not like to hear. Evan returns after briefly leaving, hefty a shotgun over his shoulder. Not sure whether its real or fake, maybe the one from Canon? But its not significant here, seeming to be something to keep Evan's hands busy.
Then things get both very serious, and very important, and very awkward.
The group is asked whether Jeff and Alex’s parents are OK with the barricade Uh oh. Alex recoils slightly, his face goes pale, but he still watches the screen, not seeming too disturbed by the question. The whole group feel that this is a grey area, and Vince and Evan hush up. Jeff goes to, guiding him out of the room after Evan asks that Alex goes with his brother. Evan then puts the gun down, and moves in close. Its clear here that the group were prepared for some questions that would forward the plot, and that this viewer who asked the question had hit the jackpot, finding an obscure question that would later form the basis of a whole new sub-plot
Evan then fills the audience in. he informs us that they died a long while ago, and its a really sore subject, not one to be mentioned. Vince and Evan even ask that the parents aren’t mentioned again. Evan then hints that Alex is not fully stable with the loss yet. Things then move swiftly on. Well not as swift and smooth as they had hoped. Evan tries to elaborate on Alex, but Vince taps his arm to stop him. They leave it as a touchy subject with a lot of issues involved. Then things move on.
Jeff is still out of shot with Alex at this point. Jeff and Alex then return shortly after, just in time for another awkward follow up question: “who are Jeff and Alex living with then?” Vince tries to say something then notices the duos arrival. Evan simply says “they live at home”. Jeff then ducks into shot, close to the camera and says “insurance money can go a long way” in a very grave and serious tone. That sort of voice that says “just-fucking-leave-it-there” that signifies the end of that train of thought.
Things almost duck out of awkwardness there, but Evan is once again asked about the Morse videos and the hidden clips. He simply waves it off, not even responding to it fully.
After some more light-hearted questions, Evan tries to get Alex to leave the room, asking him to get his crowbar. Alex ignores him and stays.
The questions stay light for a while, the group is asked about their religion. Vince doesnt commit to a specific faith, but believes in something higher, while Evan doesnt buy into it.
Another jackpot question is hit, asking about Corenthal. Evan seems maybe a little pissed at this, oddly enough, but he and Vince leave to let Jeff explain about Corenthal.
Alex and Evan play fight in the background while Jeff explains.
He says he was not making the story up. He was in elementary school, a fire of no incident occurred and they left Jeff behind. He had a recurring dream, which died down then he had it again during the events surrounding JessA. He claims that he had been to the school many times since the incident with “the friend [gesturing over his shoulder] who helped me get over it”, showing that he had either ignored the letters, or they had been planted there. It should be noted that it is entirely possible he just never noticed the papers. The group then returns tot he scene, and Jeff begins about a patient in Ohio. It is then revealed that only the patients known as Vince and Evan had been uncovered at this point, the rest of the mining town four to be realised later. Btw, since the patients of Corenthal bare the same name as the crew, they will hereby be referred to with the prefix Fairmount, e.g. FairmountEvan.
It is also revealed that the papers have been destroyed in Alex’s room. Jeff reveals that the only paper kept off the internet at this point contains the details of a patient known as Jeffrey (FairmountJeff). The mass coincidence freak Jeff out to the point that he did not read it, and it was lost when the cache was “destroyed”, though it is likely that it was taken by the rake, and back to HABIT, for use in the boxes.
Its also revealed that Jessie has a great uncle, uncle Corenthal. Yep, doctor Corenthal, which proves the link here. Then the topic moves towards the rake, which according to Evan smells like “rancid ass”.
The link between the group and candle cove is referenced here, though it is proven false. Both Evan and Jeff chuckle a little when its mentioned, Evan replies “I love that show. It was all static though”, jokingly displaying his knowledge of the creepypasta.
I love the way that one person asks “is everymanHYBRID ever going to be about fitness again?” as if that's the real reason they are still watching.
More info on Corenthal, one user asking whether the group knows about the good doctor's death. Jeff knows of suicide records in 2005, but he is not sure they are accurate. He mentions how “mean” the widow Corenthal was when confronted with HABIT once more, so I think it is likely that Corenthal is still alive in some form, and being held or experimented on by HABIT. I would also mention my theory that Corenthal is now the rake, turned into that form by HABIT, due to a line from HABIT saying that the doctor isn’t lucky enough to be dead, and that could mean that he would wish for death. The state of being the rake cannot be a favourable one, especially when he is sent to hunt down his own patients, who he already feels he has failed.
Anyway, the widow does seem defensive about Corenthal, meaning that she may know of his fate, or at least where he is, but he has hidden himself to evade either the police or the rake and HABIT.
Evan then talks about meeting people, saying it was a blast hanging with TheGreenFeathers, and he likes “meeting all you little people”, which in my mind sounds a little bit like a HABIT quote, just the sense of importance indirectly and unconsciously implied there.
They then mention a small note found in Centralia, which is now locked inside Alex’s bedroom with the rake. This may be their part of the Centralia note.
Evan makes a few hints towards hunting, stating he owns a meat cleaver and that he like to “make meat”. He also references Twelve Monkeys here, as he sits up on the chair, yelling back to Alex “get off my chair!” much in the same way Brad Pitt did in the film.
It is also revealed that Corenthal was a child psychologist.
They also announce that they are entered in THESEVENTRIALSOFHABIT, as rabbits 2,3, and 4, though Evan wasn't fully aware that he had signed up for it, despite the fact that be may actually be running it in some way. At this point, the group has only had confirmation from HABIT, and no other contact. Oddly enough when asked whether Evan had any imaginary friends as a child, the whole crew answers no, apart from Alex. This seems to go unnoticed by other sites, but when Evan asks Alex about imaginary friends, well, heres the transcript:
Evan: did you? [facing Alex]
Alex: what?
Evan: have any imaginary friends?
Alex: fuck you
odd that I haven't seen this anywhere online, but it seems Alex is aware of imaginary friends or something close to it, and it has become a very touchy subject. This may be due to his lack of ability to cope with loss, hence the imagining that his parents are still alive, using the recordings to simulate them talking, and the sock puppet he uses after (SPOILER) the death of sparky (END OF SPOILER). It seems that Alex may have had imaginary friends in the past, and something clearly happened to make him so defensive. The group moves on anyway and his response goes unnoticed.
They repeat the answer to whether JessE was Jewish and make a bit of a faux pas by asking Jeff whether JessA WAS, making Jeff stare down at Vince, and Vince trying to cover up his slip.
When asked about his childhood, Evan says that it was all fairly normal, though doesnt elaborate on where, or more importantly when it took place, it could also mean that he doesnt fully remember the full events of his childhood, he does state he doesnt remember some stages. They also don't explain where their parents are, aside from Jeff. As far as we know, Evan has a sister and that's about it, we know nothing of Vince's family.
The group then talk about the trials, and that they aren’t sure what to make of them, and they are sorry if they are dragging their viewers into it. Evan says to just stay away from it, which does dent the Evan/HABIT theory a little, though he simply may not be aware that he is HABIT, if he actually is.
They also state that they are aware of the boxes, that that they have seen the videos, but that they have no idea what to make of them.
They also make a reference to Zeke Strahm, who I believe is another blogger on the slenderman universe, there are so many of us. I am not really aware of his format, I only heard of him during research a few days ago, and im fairly swamped at the moment. Just to let you know, I have 22 other series to watch and comment on, about 7 of which I haven't even watched yet, and I am ware of about 15 other series that I will be play-listing and commenting on, so I am pretty busy on that side. Even worse, Latent Anathema shut down after the last MLAnderson0 video before I could watch and record the series, so im lost on that front now, but either way im babbling on now, so back to EMH.
A fan then sends in a pokemon style rendition of Evan sawing off the slenderman's “face”, with the caption “its super effective”. The group enjoy a laugh, and Evan says “because I had my knife” meaning that he might have stood a chance against slendy if he had more that a simple bat.
Two interesting points are brought up, one viewer asking whether the group is being targeted due to them sharing their names with the mining town four, and Vince disputing whether the Corenthal letters are real, or whether someone has simply forged them. Valid points, and maybe Vince was hinting us in the right direction.
The group mention dreams again, after joking about swimming. As soon as dreams are mentioned, Evan leans back, all humour gone from his face, completely silent and serious. Seems like Evan is still having recurring dreams, and that they are getting worse.
The group are asked whether they would go back to Centralia or Lambertville, to which they say no. Centralia seemed to have served its purpose, while I think something could still come from Lambertville. The Fairmount Childrens Home was the Lambertville place, the same place they found the rake and the body, and the same place the mining town four were taken from by Corenthal.
When asked about Kevin smith movies, the group say they enjoy them, and a fan notes that Vince and Evan are link Dante and Randall, with Vince being Dante, and Evan being Randall. Evan then realises that “Randall's the retard that burns down the whole place!” which seemed like too perfect a reference to let go, seeing as it is like that FairmountEvan could’ve burned down the children’s home and possibly the elementary school, possibly as HABIT.
A joke about Jeff growing an extra arm results in a quote from Vince “too much radiation”, possibly a link to the sigma radiation, given off from slenderman and the HYBRID's blood, and possibly the rake and HABIT.
It is also revealed that the leaked videos follow the same pattern as the Morse videos, they cannot be seen by the crew.
They are also asked whether they regret making the series, and they say it is easier having the audience to aid the process, Jeff feels that it would have happened anyway. The crew seem to enjoy the iteration with the fans.
Another question about whether any of the crew are superstitious results in nos from the main crew, and a nod from Alex.
When asked about a possible correlation between the scratches on the boxes and the scratches on Alex’s arm, the group state that, it is up to the fans to determine, bringing in the interactive part of the ARG.
The group is also asked about Marble Hornets, and they say that they enjoyed the series before, and they were the reason for the fake slenderman, but since the events following the fake slendy, they have not watched any of it. Bad voodoo states Vince.
Jeff seems a little overwhelmed or even tired of Evan at this point, Evan having kept up his cheerfulness for most of the stream, but Jeff having to deal with many complicated issues in the wake of the other guys shenanigans.
The group is also confronted with the suggestion that totheark is in fact HABIT, though they manage to imply that Marble Hornets is not real, and HABIT is.
The group is asked whether they would set up any Marble Hornets style security surveillance cameras, though it seems that someone else already has, as per the previous entries.
They are also asked whether they would contact Marble Hornets, though Jeff says that he would prefer they reach out to them if they chose to.
It should be noted that Evan mentions his own deviant-art account, but not the actual name. Maybe a little odd seeing as he does use technology, and while researching this, I found something I had missed. At around 1:17:00 Evan asks “what the fuck is that”, Alex backs off Evan tells Jeff to turn it off, saying “your brother is here”. The picture was this [http://kastia.deviantart.com/#/d334uqa] obviously something that would severely distress Alex.
When asked why they did not simply run away completely, they simply reply “why should we?” a very vital point, and one that does not follow the typical structure of most ARGs.
Evan also points out that along with his iconic hunting knife, he has also bought two machetes and a full samurai sword set. Either he is gearing up for an assault, or his love of knives is taking over.
It is then stated that they did not let Alex sign up for THESEVENTRIALSOFHABIT, though Alex did anyway.
It is then revealed that the group got lost in the car following Evan's attack on slendy in ashen waste. The clock did not work, neither did their sense of direction. It is possible that they were in the ARK verse or candleverse, as these are hallmarks. It could also be that slendy was stopping them from straying, and had plans. They then simply woke up several hours later in the basement.
And that's about it, the 2 hour ustream is done, well done for sticking it through, took me a while anyways. Onto the final ustream, so far.
Video 5
after the titanic ustream last time, the group has learned a lesson and has such closed down their chat on the ustream, instead answering questions that have been pre-sent to the crew, a better idea I reckon since the chatters were manic over it last time, but it does give the crew further control over questions they want to answer, and this may not be the best thing, it certainly takes away the fun of the silly questions.
The first one is about how safe they feel, Evan says they don't really feel safe at all, Vince stating he enjoy the quiet the group had had.
The next question is about Alex’s room, though watching that video will get you all the answers you will need.
Then they are asked about the voice-mail, to which they say they know who it is, but not what it entirely says. Its either HABIT or the rake though.
They are also asked whether they would fight the slenderman, Evan saying he is prepared to “fist fight the fucking thing”, and that they are all ready, but they know it wont do any good.
They are then asked whether they would move, but they say there is nowhere to go, Jeff says it would only spread the fear.
Then they are asked about JessE's uncle, Corenthal, but they haven't heard anything from JessE on the subject.
The group confirms that they cannot see the leaked videos, but that they do believe they are there. They also tried the USB stick again to open the corrupted xxof76 series, and a new file was activated.
They have also received the DVD from coffeecollie, containing the Hidden Videos, and they will watch them when Steph is back.
Jeff also says that he can see the distortion in congratulation Magus, and that it pissed him off, while the other two haven't watched the video yet. Jeff also says about who has access to the EMH hard drive, and Vince says that only the crew do, meaning that one of them, most likely Evan, has been editing them. I know it sounds odd that technology impaired Evan would do this, but it would most likely be the HABIT side of him.
We do then get a random silly question, something that lightens the mood since this has been a fairly serious affair thus far. The previous ustream seems to have had an effect on the crew, and they seem to want to keep it short now to prevent any odd questions, game-jacking, trolling or overbearing answer seekers.
It is also revealed that the fake slendy was Vince's idea, which seems to annoy Evan as he moves out of frame while Vince speaks. The group also seems to deeply regret it, say that they should have used Obama girl or the numa numa guy, though I wouldn’t want either of those stalking me.
It is also revealed that Steph is now living with Evan.
It is also stated that the group does not keep anything from its audience, and that we know it when they do. BUT ARE THEY LYING? Im writing this on the day of the HALLOWEEN HANGOVER video release, something from HABIT that begins with: “what they haven't shown you”, clearly showing that the group has been keeping things from us, just like what he have seen in the xxof76 and Morse video serials. The group is blatantly holding things back, Vince has bee hinted at doing this before, and the reasons are numerous. Maybe they just seek damage control, preventing a panic or releasing anything that they feel shows things in a worse light. Maybe they simply do not recall these events, like in the Morse videos. From and editorial view, its obvious that they are keeping stuff back to prolong the mystery and not ruin the story. The HALLOWEEN HANGOVER video has already given a lot away, and I am itching to write my piece for that. I have taken a break from writing the suggested viewing order companion guide at this point to complete the end of guide add ons, such as this, so I am bout 48 videos away from writing about the HALLOWEEN HANGOVER. I wont ruin it all here.
They are then asked how far the fake slendy was going to go. They state that the next planned shoot was of slendy benching, which would have been kind of awesome. It seems that the real slenderman struck before he was reduced for comic effect.
They are then asked a very pertinent question “is there anything you personally want to make clear to us?”, which is a genius move of the asker, as it throws that sense of guilt to them and makes it easy to see whether they are lying. Since the question is read, Evan seems to be itching to speak. He looks at Vince, almost prompting him to speak, but he tells Evan its all him. Evan gives the advice that if anything that has happened to them befalls any of the audience, that they should not try a physical confrontation with slendy. Vince then tells the audience that if it does happen, they should document it. This could be a direct prompt for either spin off’s for tie ins, and is a brave move by the cast as it actively provokes copycats and idea theives, as well as game-jackers. It is an odd piece of advice as well, since filming brings instant relief from the stress of the slenderman, but it also seems to be a stimulant for him, making the events more pronounced.
They are asked about previous pranks, and cannot determine whether or not some shots are theirs or not, despite previously saying that they would not go back and reveal them. It seems that they came across a question they didn't like, Evan telling Jeff to skip it. Its times like these I wish we could see these questions ourselves.
When asked about the quote shown after an earlier video “enter the tragic hero and his unattainable companion” or something to that effect, Jeff simply answers “Macbeth(?)”, seeming not to know where this question comes from.
They are then asked about the metallic sound at the beginning of jokes over, which Jeff tries to prove is the usb from the flip camera, and Vince knows What’s being hinted “did Evan hold a knife to my back?”, to which they answer a definitive no. Evan seems not defensive but simply honest, not that he is lying at all either. It seems that this is the truth, but watching that beginning sequence does make things seem a little odd. If anything, Vince sounds offended, like he has heard that question too many times.
Jeff continues to try to imitate the metallic noise through the next question, only finding it when Evan takes it off him. The next question is about the effects the presence of slenderman has on the cast, with them saying it is only the sound of children and sirens.
Jeff is asked again about the voice-mail, but does not comment.
Evan is asked about his feelings on HABIT, to which he answers, staring into the camera straight, blank faced and in monotone “I don't know, never met the guy”, in a way that almost seems to be a pre-programmed response, something he has been mentally trained to say when asked, the same thing FairmountEvan would do when asked about where the nickname came from, or when referred to as Evan.
Evan also says that he has been obsessed with sharp objects since the day he was born. Evan also disregards a question about his knowledge about hunting.
He is then asked why he wanted to leave early during the day in the life video. He responds saying it was just a gut feeling, he was making excuses because he just didn't want to be trekking any more, he just wanted to be home.
Vince is asked whether Mittens (his old deceased cat) is still in its grave, to which he responds “yep. Most of it” most of it....seems like there has been some missing pieces. Vince then says that he lives near the dark woods, and the only odd thing that happened before the grave incident was slenderman on the deck. The group never does say “slenderman” when referring to the one that follows them.
Vince says he gets migraines from stress, which is induced by the events.
Though asked about the Corenthal letters, they do not give any opinions, only that they hope they are faked.
They say that nothing bad has happened since leaving the trials, and that they are pretty much screwed anyway, so it doesnt matter. The only negative effects have been the grave incident and the rake.
When asked whether they feel threatened by HABIT, they all say no, though Evan is the first to say no and keeps trying to say no about it, as if he is trying to make a point that HABIT is not a threat. Vince then says that slenderman and the rake are the only real threats at this point.
When asked what Vince and Evan buried for their trial, Evan says it was one of the prettiest knives he ever saw. He seems very saddened by the loss and states that he will never see “her” again because shes buried. He also says “she was fucking beautiful” as well, showing a very deep obsession for this knife.
And that's it for the questions that were emailed. Vince then says if the group can control it, they will open the chat for 5 questions maximum, but the chat doesnt work, and after thanking the fans and urging them to keep writing in, the ustream ends.
