EMH: Not dead yet

the video starts with Vince in his car, having just arrived at Evan's. he seems nervous about checking the place out. he states it has been a week since he last saw Jeff, and he cannot remember the last time he saw Evan.
Vince then goes on to say that he did not feel right carrying a weapon, and he feels safe behind the camera, another fulfilling trait of the voyeur.
Vince then starts up the stairs of the decking outside Evan's house, in scenes very similar to that of the previous video, Twenty-four months.
Vince is understandably nervous as he walks through Evan's garden, seeing the pool where the various underwater scenes may have taken place.
Vince then enters the darkened house, through the same door as Jeff did. he is also doing all this at night time, for no obvious reason.
he heads down to the basement, where the screen is still blue, and the only obvious light source. he finds the knife Evan was given for christmas. there is also a mass of bloodied tissues under a roll of purple tape, as well as other hunting knives, all lined up. Vince then heads to the other side of the basement, seeing a bloodied blanket under a chain attached to a beam. it looks as if Evan has kept Jeff prisoner for a while, with HABIT, possibly experimenting on him as he has in the Damsel blog posts.
he then finds Jeff's show, his foot no longer in it.
Vince then begins to leave the basement, and leave the house, only he hears a noise, so he goes back...he actually heads towards it. common sense has left the series for the time being, but im kind of happy for it, means we can see more. he heads into the room where the noise came from, only to see slenderman waiting for him. the video distorts and cuts to Vince frantically running back to his car and starting it.
the appearence of slenderman could mean that Jeff and Evan have been taken, or that they may have started another iteration and are waiting for Vince to join them.
from the looks of the video, Jeff and Evan are most certainly not dead, though there is no clue as the the status of Evan, and Jeff looks to be in pretty bad shape, having apparently spent time as Evan/HABIT's captive.
any further speculation will be written below:

EMH: Dead end with a Pulse

an EMH upload on April First.....
the video starts with Vince finding something on his laptop, and making a note of it in a notebook. the camera then switches as he stands to show Jeff coming down the stairs. Jeff has brought a book with him, what looks to be the diary seen early on in the series. Jeff then notices the camera, and Vince tries to relax him about it. clearly Jeff still aint happy about being filmed and watched, though he has stated no reason other than the obvious.
flicking through the notebook, Vince finds some of Alex's drawings from when the crew was a fitness group, Jeff seems to be coping better now.
the camera changes again to a view of the table Vince and Jeff are sat at, showing some EMH business cards.
Vince has been going through the old fitness video scripts and tips lately. they mention the open source music they used, though no way to find it.
Jeff then mentions that the wiki is going nowhere, and the fans arent helping with the wiki, and everyone is talking in circles.
they pair then mention a hiking video they edited together but never released due to all the stuff that happened around that time, meaning they still have 1 fitness video left.
then this video seems to sidestep into a catch up entry, with Vince stating the and Evan have begun replying to old emails, trying to keep up with everything again. could this be the long awaited reintroduction of the ARG element?
the clip ends as Jeff asks Vince what he has been telling the fans, and how the fans are.
the video then cuts to Jeff sitting against the wall with the rocking horse found in the storage space.
then Jeff drops the bomb. he states that they found the horse in the facility, and that it belonged to Corenthal, and then that they have not spoken to Maryanne about anything. they have yet to follow up on it.
they cut the phone conversation out, but in short, she left her old home, left a sham address and now apparently lives just around the corner in Lawrence. the woman they spoke to also mentioned that Maryanne and Corenthal wanted to restore historic homes around NJ, the exact sort of home that the EMH crew poked around in while in Baldpate Mountain. the pair then decide to go for it. Jeff is heading out to get Evan, while Vince readies himself. Vince also asks Jeff to video Evan's reaction to the news, possibly fulfilling Vince's part as the voyeur. this already seems shaky now though, something feels wrong, like something is going to happen.
the video then cuts to Jeff filming, claiming he has a text from Evan telling him to "come round back" because he is "planning a surprise party or something". this bodes well.
Jeff then enters Evan's dark house, calling out for him, though there is no answer. what could be a face pans across the screen at some point.
music starts playing in the gloom, which Jeff follows. Jeff also calls out for the pregnant Steph.
the music is "i cant decide whether you should live or die". is this a possible incursion with HABIT?
the lights flick on and Jeff finds a note on the table. "don't worry you wont bleed out :)" alluding to a stabbing coming his way.
the lights flick out as Jeff is seemingly stabbed by an unknown assailant, basically Evan or HABIT, or both. the lights return and we seen Jeff walking out with his hand bloodied. he find another note saying "told you not to worry".
the lights go off again, and it is possible Jeff is stabbed again, or he falls. when they return we see what looks like Evan behind a screen.
then HOLY FUCK. Jeff runs up the stairs to run into Nick upstairs, who was killed by Evan. Nick simply states "he's got you man" as Jeff doubles back at the sight of him. the video ends with Jeff reaching the door, only to be stopped by a grinning Evan.
looks like HABIT is delivering on the new interesting shit going down, and Evan is on his long awaited killing spree.
damn good entry this one, gives us hope for more to come, and something to actually go on as well as the Evan attack. i can only assume that the notes allude to Jeff surviving, and that Evan is actually going to kill him, though whose to say otherwise. and on that note, what happened to Steph, where's she gone to?
any other speculation is held below:

btw, some have speculated that in the last couple of videos, the crew have died and respawned in the iteration, with the possible exception of Evan. Jeff looks to have overdosed and Vince possibly died in an RTA. no canon confirmation, but this is possible, so i'll just leave this here.

so, onto further speculation, of which there is many.
my main theory is that the Canon? video is actually a real video that has been sent back from the future, and we are watching it all unfold. the shots are very much the same.
it is possible that Vince sent Jeff into HABIT/Evan's trap intentionally, and wanted him to film it, then Vince uploaded the video to youtube. it is also possible that the second part of the video is hidden, due to the recent tweets from Vince, who is planning on checking out Evan's house, and taking something to even the odds. possibly the shotgun from Canon?

EMH: Twenty-four months

The latest update to EMH has surfaced, and this post follows my first time watching it.
The video starts with Vince filming Evan, asking him if there is anything he wants to say.
Evan seems hesitant at first. He seems to be talking about and to Vince and Jeff, stating that they are the only good thing to come out of the situation, and he will give everything for them. he will "fight tooth and nail".
Vince is next. Vince states that we should have figured it all out. he then retracts into the previous videos, stating that everything is is either ok, or them getting beat. and they cant keep saying that anymore.
Vince states that he doesnt have anyone apart from the group. just looking at the description, everyone has been left alone in this series, everyone apart from the mining town four: Vince, Jeff, Evan and Steph. Alex is dead, as are Jeff's parents. JessE and JessA both died. its odd to think that we really do only have 4 characters left.
Vince is thanking the group and the viewers for the support and the help. He also states that he needs the fans now more than ever.
speaking from an OOG aspect here, the way to have the fans support now, more than ever, is to resume regular updates. once a fortnight would be beyond perfect. just sayin.
Vince seems to break down a little and then films Jeff.
Jeff pleads the audience to "please, just stop watching us".
this could lead back to the original mythos, whereby the slenderman only gains power in attention. Plus, Jeff has had his parents, his brothers dog, his girlfriend and his brother die during the duration of this series so it is understandable. Jeff may also be the reason why updates have been few and far between.
The video blacks out before music starts up and the phrase "HAVE YOU MISSED ME?" appears on screen. already i am taking this as the return of HABIT.
The video clips to a sillouette of a man in a room, pointing, then to A day in the life clip, then to a wooded walk.
the wooded walk is cut into by footage of bloodied glasses on a roadside. possibly Vince's.
the next interruption is of a dark room and a torchlight piercing the darkness. the music is "The Best is yet to come" by Frank Sinatra, possibly alluding to the climax of the series, the return of HABIT, and the hope of fresh entries.
the video is interrupted again by the torchlight, actually appearing outside in Jeff's garden from the look of things, and showing bodybags on the deck. it then shows what looks to be Jeff face down on his floor, not moving.
some more clips of the wooded walk, and a cut to what is clearly Evan walking down a night time street. is this yet another hint that he is HABIT?
Evan's hunting knife appears next, pointing at a picture of Evan and Vince, seeming to indicate that Vince is next.
the next video is from the perspective of the torch holder.
then a bloodied hand, thought we cant see to whom it belongs.
more wooded walk then what looks to be the torch holder entering the house.
Evan's knife then circles Xbox games on a table. Bioshock is one of them, and he can leave that well alone.
The music fades and we are left with a sounded version of the torch barers perspective. it actually turns out not to be the torch barer, and the bodybags are actually the pool covering.
does the cameraman fall into the pool next, and the torch barer, who might be Evan/HABIT jumps into either kill or save them? is this the source of all the udnerwater clips?
judging by the sound of the breathing, the cameraman would be Vince.
the video ends with a clip of Evan drowning what looks to be Vince.
In Game Speculation:
the group are trying to remain loyal to the fans, though Jeff is making it hard. they seem to be slowing down. Vince could be attacked at the end, and HABIT could have returned to Evan.
Out Of Game Speculation:
the group are trying once again to draw people back in to the series, and the whisper of hope of fresh entries still carries into this video. whether this will happen is yet to be seen, though it is not to be expected.
Any of speculation i find after writing this blog entry will go below here.

EMH: Consensus

the follow up video from Intermission.
the preivous video had Vince setting up this one, and he is the only notably member of the currently alive cast that we have seen in a while. in the last video, Vince was trying to explain why there was a long gap between videos, and possibly hinting that this would end, and we would get regular updates, though i do not think this will happen.
been a bit lazy this time around, been a bit out of things, so this is my second viewing as i write this.
Vince has a nice new camera and is picking up Alex on the way to Jessie's funeral.
Alex greets him at the door and the video cuts to them in the car driving.
Alex then goes into some prophetic dreams he has been having from what is presumably, the rake. these dreams where the rake is speaking to alex, fit in nicely with the original rake creepypasta.
The rake has told Alex exactly what it did to Jesse, after which Vince takes the camera, due to the battery dying. the video cuts to some creepy backseat footage of the pair driving through some woods, notably those seen in the Jim Thorpe videos.
Alex remarks that they may have taken a wrong turn.
the camera fades and we are greeted with the same still seen in the very beginning of the video, Vince's blackened hand. as he moves it, we see slenderman in the distance.
Vince gets up, remarking "not again, not again".
Vince notices the missing Alex, and calls out for him, eventually finding a black oil like spill on the road, the same substance Vince has coughed up and now has on his hand. we then see what is presumably Alex in the black bag, hanging from the tree. as we see this, the video flickers between a still taken from a previous video, where Alex is at the front door with tape over his mouth. it seems that the rake or HABIT didnt want him talking.
the video also cuts between several other Alex scenes, before resuming to the fleeing Vince.
As Vince peers into his car, which he has found, he notices he has been shaved. he gets into the car and the video ends.
simple video really.
it looks like EMH is really winding down, removing several characters in just a few entries, almost as if some of the cast are bored with it all now. the video pretty much confirmed what many had speculated, and now we are all waiting for the follow up video with the remaining cast, which is about 2-3 months away, at best.
anything else i think of will be written below:

EMH: Intermission

The video starts with Vince filming himself in an armchair, seeming a bit down.
He states that it is him "as always" and that he is going to explain why there has been a gap between this video and the last.
Vince recounts a little of the "heavy stuff" that happened in the previous videos, and they were going to Jesse's funeral "when something else happened".
Vince is then almost in tears as he states he doesnt know whats happening, and that there has been a video shot and ready on the desk for days, but nobody has the heart to upload it. He then says they havent talked to Jeff about it, he has just been quiet. I'm thinking that Alex might possibly have died, or even Evan. something bad has happened to one of them, thats the impression im getting at this point.
He then goes on to say that they will upload what they can, when they have reached a concensus over what they should upload. he also says that Alex isnt ok, meaning that he is probably dead, most likely at the hands of the rake.
and thats it, the video ends. iust a short one this time, and i reckon it will be between 1-3 weeks before anything else is uploaded, though it is possible and likely that it will be about 5 weeks.
anything else i think of after a while will be written below:

EMH: Jessie

the video starts after the end of Jim Thorpe, with Vince coughing himself into consciousness, and calling for Jeff. Jeff gets to Vince, asking whether Evan came back, and that the "thing" is gone.
They do not know where Evan is, Jeff helps a blood soaked Vince to his feet, and they go to try and find him.
They find Evan round the front of the house, bloodied around his arms and neck, looking disorientated.
Evan is in shock and there are visable bite wounds and scratches on his arms. he states that Jessie is dead, the rake tore her apart.
Vince heads into the house when Evan shouts after him, stopping him. Vince states he cant just leave her like that, but Evan doesnt want him going in there. Maybe Evan did kill her, and he doesnt want anyone to see the truth of it.
Evan clearly doesnt want her body on film, and he urges the crew to leave. Evan is clearly very upset here, for obvious reasons, and i can understand why he wouldnt want Vince walking in there with the camera running.
The video cuts to the group on the road, Jeff is driving. Him and Vince are glad that Evan is "out" meaning asleep.
the pair reflect on how upset Evan seemed, and for obvious reasons. Vince speculates what the rake could have done to Jessie.
Jeff confirms that he lead the rake away from the house using the horn, and that "the other thing" meaning slenderman, stopped the rake, saving the crew. this highlights the fact that slenderman has a stake in the boys, and does not want them dead. Jeff states he heard the siren and then the rake was gone, seeming that slenderman teleported him away.
The pair then discuss how Evan will not want the videos to be uploaded, and that Vince wants to upload them.
the video then ends with the unspoken decision to upload both parts.
this is mainly just a confirmation video, showing that Jessie is definitely dead, and that Vince is not.
any further ideas i have will be listed below:

EMH: Jim Thorpe

The video starts with the crew driving along, stating that they have been on the road for 3 days.
Evan fills us in on where they are going. They are heading for JessE's house up in “Jim Thorpe Land”, and they are about an hour and forty five minutes away at this point (I think).
The video pans to shoot out the left of the car, with visual distortion kicking in when we see a house, though no significance is placed on this yet.
Evan then gets a call from JessE (who I think may be killed off in this one. I am writing this on my first viewing, as I do with all new entries, so this is just my little guess right here).
JessE seems to be panicked, and Evan tries to calm her and get some answers.
More visual distortion as the car turns left, and Evan tells JessE to call the police and stay exactly where she is. Is it possible that the rake has found her?
The video cuts a little, and the crew are still trying to find the house. Evan's phone seems to die, and he simply says “drive faster”.
The video cuts to the crew arriving at the house, no audio for the first few seconds. Evan points towards the open door and rushes out of the car, Jeff and Vince following.
Vince takes the camera from Jeff, and we see Evan heading into the open house, presumably with a knife, though we don't see it.
Again, this is my first time watching this, so I am just recording guesses, but the crew have not followed Evan into the house, meaning that he is alone in there and it is entirely possible that he is killing JessE or worse.
Vince and Jeff are very slowly and cautiously heading towards the house when a loud thump or bang is heard. It could either be a gunshot, muffled from inside the house, or someone or something being hit or falling within the house. The pair rush to find out.
They head towards the lower door, seeing JessE thud against the window, Vince asks whether they have a knife. They don't. The video distorts at Jeff.
The pair are rushing around the house, trying to find something, anything. They find Evan, peering out from a high window. He sees them and moves away, seeming to be unaffected by what has happened. Lets be honest, it is pretty obvious at this point that Evan has done something to JessE here, most likely killed her.
Vince zooms out from the window, and we see what Evan was looking at.
Heavy visual distortion as we see the fucking rake on the ground. I think maybe this time Evan finally managed to get to him, and take him down, possibly throwing him from the window.
The rake struggles to move and breath, Vince pans back to Jeff for reassurance. Jeff cannot deliver, he runs off. Vince pans back to the rake, who sturggles to move towards him, and takes him down.
We see a POV shot of the rake attacking Vince, though we do not see his face, then an air horn is sounded, seeming to call the rake off of its prey. Something does not want Vince dead, and something, or someone has stopped the attack. I reckon it is Evan/HABIT.
There is one final shot of the rake running from Vince through heavy distortion.
This video is not an easy one to decode. Firstly, the rake could be the one sent to JessE's house, and the one who is attacking. He could have been sent by either slendy or HABIT. It is clear that JessE was the only target in this attack, and the others were off limits. Evan did not have a knife, or else the rake would be dead, though it seems Evan either chased him out of the window, pushed him, or found him from the window, and was simply watching.
Jeff pussying out was no surprise, though the partial attack from the rake onto Vince was, and it is now very obvious that the mining town four are not the targets of the rake attacks, and they are not the targets of whoever (HABIT) controls him.
It is possible that the rake fled from the house to escape an angered Evan, possibly sensing the HABIT within him. The horn, which was sounded during the video, not added in post, was either the work of Jeff (unlikely) Evan (possible) or HABIT (quite likely).
In any case, the work of the rake has not been confirmed, we do not know anything about what Evan did inside the house, or where/how JessE is, and the status of Vince, though fairly secure as being safe, is still not rock solid. Either way, the group has delivered well with this entry, actually developing an older plot point, rather than introducing fresh ones.

Any further or future observations will be made below:
ok, this one came to be a little after writing this. something that i should have picked up on. what did Alex give Jeff for christmas in the last video? i'll give you a clue, its the same thing that called off the rake.
yep, thinking back on it, Jeff must have been the one to call the rake off, using the only thing he had to hand. i am still not ruling out any of the other ideas i wrote down, just in case, but this latest one here, seems the most likely. there is also speculation (already) that Vince is dead, though i do not believe he is. the crew would not have uploaded it otherwise, and Vince does film the rake leaving. if he is dead, then this is a very brave move for the cast.
